Bazooka set to make its Super Bowl debut with key campaign

With audiences around the world setting their sights on the major US Super Bowl this weekend, Bazooka Candy Brands is making its debut with two commercials running in Nickelodeon’s first ever telecast, featuring Juicy Drop Gummy Dip ‘N’ Stix and Push Pop Gummy Pop-Its, writes Neill Barston.

Historically, the event has attracted major sponsorships from across market categories, with sweets and snacks being no exception, as families across the nation and around the world tune in to one of the most-viewed individual events on the planet, being contested tomorrow (Feb 11),  between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Against the backdrop of America’s big game, both commercials, which will air during the match, celebrate the fun that defines the portfolio. The Juicy Drop spot encourages audiences to add their own flavor to everyday moments. No matter where you are or what you are doing, you can “dip and dip and dip” the candy’s sweet gummy stix into the sour gel filled center as much as you want to create the perfect mix.

The Push Pop Gummy Pop-Its creative, meanwhile, centers on the unique opportunities for play that come with the candy. With its innovative container, the soft and airy cone-shaped gummies are as entertaining to pop out as they are delicious to eat.
