World Confectionery Conference
As our parent company Bell Publishing marks its 20th anniversary, we are celebrating by launching our title’s first event – the World Confectionery Conference!
Set to now take place on Friday, 1, October, 2021, after being rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic, this global sector showcase will address a wealth of challenges and industry developments affecting international sweets, snacks and bakery markets.
With our publication’s heritage dating back to the 1930s, we thought it high time we marked the magazine’s presence in these fast-changing industries.
Indeed, our conference’s development follows in the footsteps of successful similar ventures for our sister titles CanTech International and Tea and Coffee Trade Journal, which have helped drive agendas for their respective markets.
So, having examined a number of locations for our own conference, we selected Brussels in Belgium as the perfect venue for what we anticipate will prove a highly memorable occasion. Its status as one of Europe’s confectionery capitals makes it an ideal base for hosting a gathering of the international market sector.
The one-day event is open to all across the industry, and will also include a table-top exhibition complementing its main itinerary. This includes a full day programme of speakers delivering insights and informed debate across the finished product, ingredients, and equipment subject areas.
In addition, those participating can expect plenty of market analysis and discussion focusing on some of the most significant matters facing our industries. There will also be key opportunities for valuable industry networking throughout the day, which we aim to make both an informative and engaging programme to reflect topics at heart of our sectors.
We shall be confirming full details of the conference shortly, but for initial editorial enquiries contact editor Neill Barston at [email protected] and for ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities, contact Kyra O’Sheen at [email protected]
