KBF Enterprises nutrition business recognised as one of UK’s fastest growing firms
British sports nutrition business KBF Enterprises, which produces a range of health products including health-based bars and snacks, businesses, has been named as one of the region’s fastest-growing, founder-led private companies, reports Neill Barston.
The accolade has been bestowed by For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs – Growth 100 line up, which has been established to celebrate companies’ success in delivering high volumes of sales, revenue and profit amid ongoing major wider market challenges.
Established in 2008, KBF’s Manchester-based managing director, Kieran Fisher, has overseen a period of significant growth, in which his venture has produced annual covid for the last four years – including the pandemic period, which has impacted on many smaller and medium-sized enterprises. The business owns key nutrition brands including Warrior, which is a range of protein bars, powders and supplements which are listed in a range of leading retailers including Asda and Amazon.
KBF Enterprises is one of just seven North West businesses which has made the prestigious list, made up of companies delivering turnover of between £3million and £200 million, having produced profit in the past financial year, as well as having original founders still on board.
The ultimate ranking of 100 was data-driven, with companies ordered by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in sales over the last three financial years. Businesses were initially selected by either nominating themselves or through FEBE contacting them directly, as well as by accessing publicly available financial information.
Kieran Fisher, Founder of KBF Enterprises (pictured) enthused: “We’re delighted to have been named in the FEBE Growth 100 list. It’s a huge achievement to be the only sports nutrition brand on the list and to feature alongside so many fantastic British businesses.
“We are looking forward to building on the success we’ve achieved so far with further ambitious expansion plans over the coming 12 months, which will see our great tasting range of protein products available to more people across the world than ever before.”
