Ten PM snack bars claim key Ashwagandha wellbeing ingredient first

An innovative UK snacks manufacturer is claiming a sector first in devising an oat-based bar, Ten PM, featuring Ashwagandha plants used for combatting stress as a key ingredient, writes Neill Barston.

The cherry flavoured offering is said to promote sleep and wellbeing, and has also been developed with magnesium and chamomile, having been developed in response to the growing wellness product market.

As the company explained, it was founded in 2021 by Dan Fabian, who had endured significant struggles with his sleeping patterns.

The results of months of studies with superfoods and plant-based ‘adaptogens’, he reportedly realised that certain ingredients were having a positive impact on his wellbeing.

According to the company, its latest oat and cherry bars promote relaxation, with its standout unique selling point surrounding the use of Contain ashwagandha, which asserts to being the only snack based product on the market with the product, with other products appearing in powder or gummy format.

The new range has been devised with  magnesium, chamomile, tart cherry powder, vitamin c and vitamin b6, as well as having no  added sugars. It is also said to be comparatively high in fibre, gluten free, vegan friendly and low in calories. It launches this month, with the Cherry and Oat bars available at  (£24 for 12 bars) via its website.
