The European Cocoa Association confirms major 2022 event

The European Cocoa Association (ECA) have confirmed its next Cocoa Forum event will take place in Rome, Italy, between 13-15 September 2022, reports Neill Barston.

As the organisation confirmed to Confectionery Production, it will be staged at the Hotel Villa Pamphili, with a full programme of sessions and speakers aimed at leading professionals within the industry.

Our coverage of the last European Cocoa Forum event in 2019 addressed a series of major issues across the industry – including revealing plans for the recently introduced Living Income Differential for farmer payments in Ghana and Ivory Coast. Its panel discussion also put forward strong reflections on the state of the industry, amid significant legislative and economic changes that are impacting across the entire food and drink sector.

The networking activities for the 2022 European Cocoa Forum will start as from Tuesday 13 of September, and the Conference will be held on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15, with a range of topical issues to be confirmed shortly. As has traditionally been the case, the event will close with a gala dinner.

As for previous editions, business sessions, various networking and social activities will be organised throughout the event. Those attending will have the chance to meet and exchange with high-level professionals from the Cocoa and Chocolate sectors as well as with colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. Registration for the event is due to open shortly, for more information contact [email protected]
