Nassau Candy set for Sweets & Snacks Expo return

US-based Nassau Candy confectionery business, a specialist manufacturer of specialty and private label confections, announces new sizes and package options for its Clever Candy Gumball Assortment for Sweets & Snacks Expo 2024.
The company will be exhibiting at this year’s show at its new location in Indianapolis, between 14-16 May in Indiana (Booth #11002), with a number of new novelties for the market.
Building upon the successful launch of the Clever Candy 850 CT Single-Color and Single-Color Shimmer Bulk lines at last year’s Sweets & Snacks, four new bulk gumball sizes, join the 850 CT. The new additions help accommodate the different ways gumballs are dispensed and merchandised.
All of the new gumball size offerings will come assorted in a rainbow of brilliant primary colors and fruit flavors. The complete line of new Clever Candy Gumball size options include: 850 CT (1-inch) — For professional gumball machines, 1900 CT (0.73-inch) — For additional vends from 850 CT-size professional gumball machines ,3650 CT (0.61-inch) — For vintage and new carousel gumball machines, 5800 CT (0.53-inch) — For home gumball machines, 8500 CT (0.47-inch) — The smallest gumball size available. For machines that vend a handful of candy.
“Our single-color and single-color shimmer bulk gumballs have been so well received in the industry, but they’re only a portion of the applications for gumballs,” said Andrew Reitman, Executive Vice President, National Brand Confections for Nassau Candy.
“With the new size additions to our Clever Candy Gumball line, Nassau Candy now has the widest assortment of gumball sizes and colours — including shimmer — available.”
In addition to the new size options, Nassau Candy also announced the introduction of 2 lb laydown bags filled with its Single-Color and Single-Color Shimmer 850 CT Gumballs.
A smaller packaged option of Clever Candy’s popular single-color and single-color shimmer bulk gumballs allows retailers without a bulk program to supply customers who would like gumballs for candy buffets and favor bags. It’s also a great option for event planners for smaller-scale events.
“Single-color candies like gumballs are a favorite for candy buffets as well as favors for weddings, showers, and birthday parties,” Reitman continues. “Our new 2 lb Laydown Bags of our Clever Candy Single-Color and Single-Color Shimmer Gumballs allows consumers to have the single-colored candy they want for their special events without the investment in bulk displays for retailers.”
