TNA expands with Southern Europe office
Processing and packaging solutions provider TNA is expanding its European operations by opening an office in Milan to provide customers with local technical service.
The company, which supplies the confectionery and snacks industries, says the Southern Europe office will service the wider Mediterranean region, including Spain, Portugal, France and Italy and will be headed up by packaging veteran Stefano Rizzato.
“Opening an office in Southern Europe has been one of our priorities for a while and was the natural next step,” says Steve Burgess, general manager at TNA Europe.
“Together with our European headquarters in Birmingham and our Central Europe office in Germany, we are now easily accessible and can provide in depth support to customers all over Europe, helping us expand our global reach and strengthen our position as a leading supplier of start-to-finish solutions for the entire food processing and packaging industry.”
In his role as general manager of TNA Southern Europe, Rizzato will be responsible for coordinating the sales, customer support and business development efforts for TNA across the region.
With over 17 years of experience in the food manufacturing sector, he has a wealth of knowledge in the design, engineering and manufacturing of packaging equipment.
Of the appointment, Burgess adds, “He truly understands the importance of embracing innovative technologies and will be instrumental in our efforts to help customers across Southern Europe find new areas of growth and revenue through forward thinking turnkey solutions.”
