Choux pastry mix offers cost savings
18 March 2011 – CSM United Kingdom has launched the Craigmillar choux pastry mix, just add water and mix to a smooth batter to produce choux pastry products.
Unlike many other choux mixes on the market, the Craigmillar mix needs no additional egg – simply add water. This simple to use mix eliminates the need for heating water and fat together as required when making choux pastry from scratch, which means bakers do not need to worry about safety or skills issues when using the easy to use mix.
The mix can be used to create a range of sweet or savoury choux products in assorted shapes and sizes to help bakers create a varied menu and boost profits.
