UK’s Wirebelt makes final Interpack preparations
UK equipment business, Wire Belt is keenly anticipating being back to exhibit at Interpack from tomorrow after an enforced break of six years, reports Neill Barston.
As the company noted, it is looking forward to making a return to Dusseldorf (at Hall 1, B21) and meeting up with potential new customers looking for solutions to their metal conveyor belt and conveyor requirements. Visitors to its stand will be able to see products that it has designed to meet food safe and hygiene design guidelines.
The company, which has more than 100 years of history to its name, will be displaying the Flex-Turn Conveyors, which are designed to gently convey products around corners whilst maintaining product alignment, Ladder-Flex Conveyors allowing product to be spread or converged whilst on the move allowing processors to run narrower conveyors saving factory floor space, and its Straight Conveyors demonstrating a pivot nose extension which solves transfer problems between equipment and help integrate the conveyor with existing machinery.
The company said: “We understand the challenges faced by manufacturers and offer products that are designed for manufacturing facilities where hygiene is a prime concern. Our conveyors are manufactured using innovative features to make cleaning easier and our conveyor belts have clean-in-place capabilities to reduce production downtime. A selection of belting on display will be Flat-Flex conveyor belting which promotes maximum flow through and is a proven solution for major processors, Compact-Grid conveyor belting is engineered to offer superior support for small products, is lighter in weight than comparable belts which in turn reduces running costs, and Eye-Flex designed for heavy duty applications which require an extremely rugged and long lasting belt.
