Prepare for Sweet Brazil
Sweet Brazil Inernational 2009 is due to be held in Recife 10-13 August.
The event, which has turned into one of the most important Latin American meetings in the confectionery industry will gather all the Brazilian manufacturers in one place and showcase many new product launches. It is sponsored by ABICAB ” the Brazilian chocolate, cocoa, peanuts and sugar confectionery manufacturers association.
Brazil is the number one worldwide sugar producer and the fourth largest chocolate and confectionery producer worldwide. Consumption per capita of chocolates and sugar confectionery is twice the Latin American average, generating $5.2 billion (€3.7bn) per year in sales.
