American peanut council hosts forum

The American Peanut Council will host the next International Peanut Forum in London 7-9 April 2010 for the first time since 2001.

The forum will provide the opportunity for international delegates, including manufacturers, retailers and processors, to meet with peanut suppliers, dealers, brokers, testing laboratories and equipment suppliers from around the globe.

Topics affecting the industry such as supply forecasts, import/export controls and health claims legislation will be discussed, with presentations being given by key industry figures.

“It’s an ideal time to reintroduce the International Peanut Forum to the market. The forum will address the needs of all peanut users ” including food manufacturers who want to learn more about the benefits of using peanut ingredients”, comments Patrick Archer, president of the American Peanut Council.
