For the first time in its history of over 20 years, the Sweets & Snacks Expo is set to move from Chicago, and will be hosted next summer at at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, US, reports Neill Barston

Having newly rebranded as Sigep World, the major event for the foodservice sector is set to place a significant spotlight on developments across the bakery, confectionery, gelato and pizza market segments. The event, held in Rimini, Italy, has traditionally offered a strong platform for its domestic businesses, but is attracting a growing number of international participants.
