Paradise Fruits unveils World Confectionery Conference plans

Healthy ingredients specialist Paradise Fruits by Jahncke has unveiled details of its appearance at the upcoming World Confectionery Conference, writes Neill Barston.

The company’s presentation for the virtual event on 1 June, will be under a presentation theme of ‘A Customer journey’ by its sales director Richard Horsley (pictured at ISM last year), alongside Evan van Dongen, of industry research group Innova Market Insights.

Focusing on notable themes including the rise in demand for products that support immunity and functional ingredients such as high fibre, the company’s appearance will offer insights into how Paradise Fruits Solutions can work with manufacturers to develop customised products that meet these consumer trends.

The World Confectionery Conference is the global sector showcase that aims to address a wealth of industry developments and challenges affecting sweets, snacks and bakery markets around the globe. It will assemble delegates and suppliers from across the entire value chain within a virtual platform.

To date, the industry showcase, hosted by Bell Publishing and supported by Confectionery Production, is sponsored by the Cargill group and Prefamac chocolate processing equipment. It will feature presentations highlighting the entire value chain of the sector, including from leading equipment companies including Cama, Baker Perkins, Syntegon and Minebea Intec.

There will also be presentations from suppliers including Luker Chocolate and Palsgaard, alongside keynote speakers including CAOBISCO, the European chocolate, biscuits and confectionery association, Fairtrade, and leading research groups Innova Market Insights and Euromonitor to name a few.

Another significant aspect of the event is its parallel industry exhibition, which offers a showcase for industry suppliers to showcase their latest systems for the international market.

Richard Horsley, Sales Director of Paradise Fruits Solutions, welcomed the prospect of this summer’s key industry event.

He said: “We’re really looking forward to taking part in this year’s World Confectionery Conference and helping visitors to the virtual event to stay up to date with the latest industry developments. We’re particularly excited to showcase our high fibre recipe, which we expect to be a huge hit with manufacturers aiming to cater to health-conscious shoppers as they look for easier ways to increase the amount of fibre they eat.”

Creating a more hands-on experience for attendees, Paradise Fruits Solutions is also offering free inclusions sample packs to be delivered ahead of the event so that attendees can experience the look, feel and flavour of the ingredients as they are being discussed.

Richard adds: “Although this year the World Confectionery Conference has to take place virtually, we want to offer attendees an experience as close to the real thing as possible. Our sample packs will provide a great opportunity for developers to explore our products further and experience the variety of tastes and textures that they provide.”
