Tech group Sidel primes itself for Interpack machinery releases

For this year’s interpack, the Sidel technology group is anticipating a major display of highlights across its expertise in complete line solutions for sectors including confectionery and snacks, writes Neill Barston.

As the company explained, it has built more than 40 years of experience across a number of market segments, which be located at Hall 13, B47 of this year’s event in Düsseldorf, Germany, between 7-13 May.

According to the firm, visitors can experience turnkey systems covering every stage, from design and engineering to installation and lifecycle support, created to simplify operations and reduce downtime. Backed by advanced engineering, smart services and deep packaging know-how across multiple formats, these solutions enable reliable performance, operational
flexibility and long-term productivity.

Making its live debut at interpack 2026, the Cermex RoboSelex represents Sidel’s latest generation of robotic collating systems for case packing.

Designed to handle lightweight containers of any shape with maximum flexibility, it achieves speeds of up to 320 products per minute while ensuring a
continuous, accumulation-free product flow.

With ultra-fast and repeatable changeovers, down to one minute for collation adjustments, the system boosts production agility and simplifies operations,
enabling manufacturers to quickly adapt to evolving packaging requirements.

Also featured at interpack 2026, the RoboAccess_Pal S is a compact and agile
palletising solution developed to enhance end-ofline efficiency and reduce manual handling.

Combining a small footprint with high performance, up to 11 cycles per minute, 25 kg payload, and pallet heights of up to 2200 mm, it integrates easily into existing production environments.

Equipped with the intuitive PalDesigner tool accessible via the HMI, it allows operators to quickly create and adjust pallet patterns, supporting greater autonomy, fast installation and strong return on investment.
