The final keynote for our World Confectionery Conference has been confirmed, with Ferrero once again playing a key role as Fabio Mora, senior vice president of open innovation joining our event.
As a senior sector practitioner, he has gained nearly 30 years of working across industries, leading on R&D transformation, and is keenly awaited taking part in this year’s eclectic key industry gathering on 10 September in London, at America Square.
Having taken up his present role engaging with a broad range of businesses several year ago, he has developed a strong range of core skills, working open innovation ecosystems and technical partnerships within the global consumer goods industry.
A core area of specialism has involved collaborations with emerging technologies, and creating scaleable business opportunities through building strategic partnerships, across topics including ingredients, packaging and AI technology.
This year’s show features keynotes from Caobisco European confectionery trade body, Cargill, and major insights featuring Euromonitor International, supporting an action-packed day of discussion and debate, placing core sector challenges on the table.
Ferrero’s Mora will be joined at the event by his colleague, and longstanding supporter of the event, Francesco Tramontin, who appears later on for our centrepiece Q&A on industry sustainability.
Registration for the 2026 World Confectionery Conference is now fully open, and can be done via our dedicated event website at the following direct link, with sponsorship opportunities still available via Dave Johson, at [email protected]
Neill Barston, editor Confectionery Production magazine, welcomed the Ferrero contribution to this year’s event: “With much emphasis now being placed on how companies can work together amid relatively constrained economic conditions, initiatives exploring open innovation are especially timely.
“So it is great that our 2026 iteration of the World Confectionery Conference will benefit from two key specialists from Ferrero, which has continued to offered sustained support for our event, which is shaping-up to being especially notable this year in London in September.”
