Tasty treats at ISM

2 February 2011 - I’m writing this comment on the last day of ISM and I am thoroughly exhausted. I completely underestimated the sheer size of the show and now totally understand why it is a must-attend event for all those involved in the confectionery industry. 

It was good to meet so many of you, to hear about your products, and to taste them! Although, in retrospect I wish I hadn’t said ‘yes’ to sampling quite so many delicious treats as my trousers are feeling determinedly tighter despite the vast amounts of walking I’ve been doing!

Also in the March issue, I will be summarising the ProSweets conference which focused on flavours, with industry experts discussing topics such as natural colours, and the new EC flavouring regulation.
