Exclusive: Exhibitors assemble for the World Confectionery Conference

An array of industry talents will be exhibiting their work as part of the World Confectionery Conference next month, with companies from across the sector being represented, writes Neill Barston.
From equipment and ingredients businesses, through to industry insights and sustainability organisations, this year’s contributors will be keen to meet and greet visitors to the event, which is our fourth live show.

Among our diverse exhibitors this year on 11 September in Brussels, are Cama equipment and systems group, which has produced a number of dynamic packaging machinery lines for the confectionery, snacks and bakery markets.
We also have fellow machinery specialist Kadzama, which produces a full-spectrum of solutions for chocolate production, from bean-to-bar solutions, through to tempering and development of pralines.
In addition, on the ingredients side, exhibitors so far include Palsgaard, the innovative Danish-based emulsifier business that will also be presenting again at this year.

There are also further ingredients contributions from Canada’s Bartek, specialising in malic acid, a critical element in the production of many sweets formulations, as well as French acacia gum firm, Alland & Robert, which will also be offering major insights into its operations, as the business makes its debut presenting appearance at the event.
Moreover, we also have Eastman industry solutions among our exhibitors, which has gained traction in devising applications for a wide ranges of industries, including for confectionery, which will also be among our speakers in Brussels. Fellow ingredients specialists, Corbion, will also be making a welcome return to the event in a speaking and exhibiting capacity.

This year’s quota of exhibitors also features the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, which has played an integral role in driving standards within its segment of business.
There will be further focus on supporting industry in improving its operating standards with Rainforest Alliance also among our contributors, as well as an appearance from the Mintel Group, which is also set to be among our keynotes for the event.
