Interpack opens exhibitor registration for scheduled 2023 event

Exhibitor registration for the global industry Interpack 2023 packaging event has now officially opened, as the event seeks its return following the cancellation of its latest edition due to the ongoing pandemic, which was scheduled for last month, reports Neill Barston.

Interested parties can engage with the event at at with the international trade fair now confirmed as taking place between 4-10 May 2023 at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Centre.

Organisers had attempted to ensure a revised date to have enabled its staging this year, after it was originally due to be held in 2020, but despite moving the date forward a complete calendar year, conditions regarding the covid crisis have not sufficiently improved this year, leading to a renewed focus for 2023.

The event has been designed is a platform for complete value chains, and features a host of equipment targeting markets including the confectionery, bakery and snacks, with previous editions of the fair seeing major technology developments being unveiled.

This includes processes and machines for packaging and processing packaged goods, along with packaging materials, packaging containers and packaging manufacture, complete with services for the packaging industry. Exhibitors that gained approval for interpack 2021, which was cancelled due to the pandemic, can rebook.

Confectionery Production previously reported on some of the major enhancements for what would have been this year’s event, including the development of a new hall specifically dedicated to sweets and snacks, which is anticipated to prove a sector focal point for the next scheduled event.

As organisers explained its parallel supplier trade fair, Components, will take place alongside the show again in 2023, with registration also now open  at
