Following the success of our 2026 edition of the World Confectionery Conference, the event is planning a key return to London for our next iteration, reports Neill Barston.

Place a note in your diaries for Thursday, 9 September 2026 at One America Square, which saw a memorable fifth live edition of our event take place last month, drawing an audience from around the globe.

Our present edition of Confectionery Production has a full review of this year’s event, which featured a dynamic line-up of keynotes including Cargill, Ferrero, and insights from Euromonitor international.

The event was also joined by Europe’s major confectionery body, Caobisco, with its present, Tobias Bachmüller opening the conference (see our exclusive video review below).

Plans for next year’s event will be worked-up over the coming months, but we will ensure that the conference will once again encompass the full spectrum of the confectionery and snacking industries.

We will also be seeking entries from across the complete industry for our World Confectionery Awards, which have played an increasingly notable role during our event in helping celebrate some of the finest achievements of our combined international markets.

Editor Neill Barston commented: “Once again, a sincere thanks is very much due to all those who participated in our 2026 event in London, which assembled speakers from across Europe, the UK, Canada and Colombia to name a few.

“This made for a truly eclectic day that placed a valuable spotlight on sustainability, innovation and demonstrating how companies right across the industry are thriving and evolving in spite of testing economic and geopolitical times around the world.

“Thank you also for the excellent feedback on this year’s event, which was especially heartening to hear, and underlines the work of the team in putting the event together each year. We look forward to welcoming you back to London in 2027.”
