This year’s Choco Tec event in Cologne, Germany, attracted a key global audience from across the chocolate and wider confectionery sector to discuss major trends and areas of development for the industry.
Our exclusive video review of the showcase (below) examines its core topics, including exploring the fast-evolving plant-based product market, with presentations from Barry Callebaut, Cabosse Naturals, Ritter Sport, Cargill and Nestle, among many others, evaluating notable progress in the segment.
We also speak to Choco Tec 2022’s managing director, Andreas Bertram, who is also an editorial board member of Confectionery Production, for his reflections on the event, which is staged every two years in Cologne, and made its live return for the first time in four years this week.
