Bespoke British-founded food and confectionery processing business BCH will be placing a strong emphasis on extrusion and cooking systems for the sector at this year’s major interpack events, writes Neill Barston.

The company confirmed to our title that it is anticipating to display solutions designed for higher product quality, improved flexibility for manufacturers, and greater long-term production reliability benefits.

For this year’s must attend packaging and processing event in Dusseldorf, the company’s stand in Hall 4, D45, will include the showcase of a confectionery extrusion machine designed for liquorice production alongside a cook/cool system equipped with BCH’s FlexiChef software.

Notably, BCH’s TS180 confectionery extruder will be on display on the stand, highlighting BCH’s expertise in extrusion and forming for confectionery applications, particularly within liquorice production.

The company’s liquorice range is capable of a wide variety of possible product outputs and applications, and visitors are invited to explore the potential of this machinery with its specialists. This display highlights BCH’s ability to design and manufacture bespoke confectionery processing systems.

This solution is built to meet the demands of modern production, including greater ingredient control,  smooth integration into automated lines, and faster cleaning and reduced downtime (CIP options).
In addition, The BCH cook/cool system on display will feature an interactive demonstration of FlexiChef, the company’s award winning recipe management software. Visitors will be able to explore the system interface on screen, gaining insight into how precise control supports consistency, repeatability, and efficient production.
With the machine presented with open lid access, BCH engineers will also highlight  hygienic design principles, materials and build quality, and core engineering features supporting cleanability and reliability.

The Cook / Cool system is installed in production kitchens worldwide, enabling food manufacturers to deliver consistent, high-quality and repeatable products, including ready meals, soups, sauces, bakery fillings and specialist applications such as pet food.
