A host of Bühler technology set to emerge at interpack 2026

Swiss-headquartered Bühler, specialising in a broad range of equipment and industry systems for markets including confectionery and bakery markets, has set its sights on key interpack launches, reports Neill Barston.

As the business explained to our publication, it is preparing  a host of upgraded solutions and innovations for the sweets, snacks, chocolate, food and wider sectors for the key show in Düsseldorf between 7-13 May.

The business makes its return to the must-see equipment and systems show at Hall3 C46 and C47, with the company anticipating significant global interest in its core launches.

Driven by its motto of “Delivering delight in every bite”, the Swiss family-owned company is shaping the future of sweets, confectionery, food, and feed.

“This year, it is showcasing seamless solutions for bean-to-bar chocolate processing, as well as fully integrated solutions from grain to a wide variety of delicious snacks.

We want to enhance performance, increase efficiency, and contribute to sustainability for our customers – readying them to remain successful in volatile markets and open new business opportunities.”

The firm is inviting visitors to experience its latest innovations, exchange on industry trends and opportunities, and indulge on some of the many delicious products produced on its machines.

Since Interpack 2023, Bühler’s engineers have been in close collaboration with its customers to develop a myriad of innovations and upgrades to existing technologies, which will be revealed at Interpack 2026. (see our exclusive video preview with event director Thomas Dohse below).

Its core lines to be presented in Germany in May include the next generation of cocoa nib roasting – powered by unmatched energy efficiency, a breakthrough cooling concept, and smart roaster control.

There are also major upgrades to our conche and five‑roll refiner, delivering new levels of performance, usability, and efficiency in chocolate production.

Furthermore, the business also presents a reinvented compact and modular processing line that seamlessly combines mixing and single‑pass ball mill grinding for chocolate compounds, spreads, and coatings.

In addition, it will also showcase an enhanced  version of its proven indirect‑fired convection oven, perfect for biscuits, cookies, pizzas, as well as demonstrating its  award‑winning inductive wafer baking oven, boosting quality and flexibility while reducing energy consumption by up to 50 per cent.

Finally, the company will provide a platform for the new generation of extrusion technology, and a  fully modular chocolate moulding line that significantly reduces time‑to‑market and can be seamlessly expanded as demand grows.
