Hershey and Mondelez combine for Reese’s Oreo Cups and cookies

An epic melding of two brands threatening to “break the internet” has been confirmed with the delivery of two new major products, Reese’s Oreo Cup, and Oreo Reese’s Cookie that are set to prove among key confectionery talking points this summer, writes Neill Barston.
The historic mash-up between the flagship candy brand and cookie has, according to the company, come in the wake of significant social media demand for the fresh innovations.
Notably, the releases build upon a strong showing for both Hershey-owned Reese’s and the Mondelez major group behind Oreo cookies, which have both continued to garner significant respective market share.
As the companies’ noted, there’s “no need for anyone to play favourites” with regards to its latest collaboration. As for the Oreo Reese’s Cooking, each one has signature Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies filled with a Reese’s peanut buttery creme and cookie crumbs.
For its part, the Reese’s Oreo’s Cup unites milk chocolate and white creme peanut butter cups with the Mondelez flagship cookie brand crumbs for good measure. Both ranges are available this summer.
