Time for industry to shine with World Confectionery Awards entries

This year’s World Confectionery Awards, forming an integral part of our World Confectionery Conference taking place in the UK this October, are set to celebrate some of the most significant achievements across the industry in 2023.

There’s no getting away from the fact that we’ve collectively endured some challenging economic times around the globe during the past 12 months, and indeed before that with the pandemic, so we will once again be welcoming the opportunity to encourage as many of you as possible to contribute to this year’s accolades.

Indeed, we are in fact offering a special subscriber Earlybird, which is now extended to its final phase, ending 5 August, offering our audiences around the world a £30 discount on day tickets for the event, so be sure to contact our sales manager, Chris Meer, quoting Earlybird23 at [email protected] to make the most of that within the next few weeks.

Our event will give you access to a raft of major speakers, from key organisations and companies including Caobisco European confectionery trade body, Ghana Cocoa Board, Nestle, Cargill and Ferrero, Luker Chocolate, to speaking contributions from independent businesses such as York Cocoa House, Sweetdreams confectionery,  Farmforce sustainability organisation, plus equipment groups including Royal Duyvis Wiener, Baker Perkins, Cama packaging and MacIntyre Chocolate Systems to reflect that side of our industry. So overall, there will be something for everyone there – and we warmly welcome as many of our subscribers as possible to take part in our event, on 5 October at the Harrogate Convention Centre, Yorkshire. It will be followed by an equally engaging day of chocolate making and confectionery history in neighbouring York as an optional extra.

Here are our categories this for our awards, so don’t miss out on putting your bids forward – all will be considered equally and moderated via our editorial board. So you’ve until August 20 to do get those in – but the sooner the better to enable us to prepare for this year’s show would be greatly appreciated.
