World Confectionery Conference Final Countdown

It’s finally arrived! In just 48 hours we’ll be joining the industry in Brussels for our second World Confectionery Conference, which our team is keenly anticipating will be a great success.
So once again – you’ve may have heard me mention this a lot in the past few weeks, but I’ll make no apology for offering my continued thanks for all those who have helped make this happen – you know who you are, and indeed we are very grateful for your backing.
For anyone who may have been considering coming but have been uncertain as to whether you could make it to our showcase at the Marriott Hotel in Brussels this Friday – there’s yet time for you to get your registrations in, though if you can please try and do so today and tomorrow that will greatly aid our management of the event. We will in fact be taking payments on the day as well, so we’ll make sure there is nobody who is left out who would like to be there. So please do register through our dedicated site to ensure your presence at the event.
With our awards freshly judged, and final preparations being made, here’s wishing you all safe travels to Belgium for those who are based outside of the country – I was impressed to see visitors listed from South Africa, India and right across Europe, as well as one of our speakers being from the US.
On that basis, I believe there will indeed be a strong sense of this being a truly international event marking key technology, systems, ingredients and finished product developments – which was very much always our intention.
It has been quite a journey to get this much-needed live event off the ground, but we hope you’ll agree that as the world gradually strains to return to something resembling normality, getting together in-person is extremely hard to beat.
So please do make a point of introducing yourself to myself and the rest of the team, and we shall of course do likewise. Here’s hoping it proves an exceptionally memorable showcase indeed.
