Italian-headquartered IMA industry equipment and solutions group is among companies preparing to welcome visitors to this year’s Pack Expo event in Chicago, US, opening this weekend, writes Neill Barston.

The business joins more than 2,500 companies for the key American packaging and processing event, which has attracted exhibitors from around the globe, eager to showcase their latest tech offerings.

For its part, IMA will be appearing a  Booth S-1720 (South Building), during the event between 18-20 October, to present its latest range of solutions for the Chocolate, Confectionery and Snack markets.

Product dosing is managed by IMA Ilapak’s WA 16-10 SLIM multi-head weigher, a compact, high-speed weighing solution specifically designed for delicate products, ensuring outstanding accuracy, gentle product handling, operational flexibility, and hygienic performance. 

The line is completed by the brand-new DOYTRONIC 60, a compact and versatile stand-up pouch machine capable of producing attractive multipacks in re-closable Doypacks, delivering enhanced efficiency, strong shelf appeal, and greater consumer convenience.
