Equipment and systems specialist GEA lines-up core machinery for interpack

German-headquartered GEA will be presenting a number of innovations highlighting its engineering prowess, representing its precision engineering capabilities, which include core confectionery and bakery market machinery, writes Neill Barston.

The company’s integrated processing and packaging solutions help food and pharmaceutical producers achieve higher productivity, better product integrity, and more efficient, sustainable operations.

GEA will present a powerful line-up of innovations in processing and packaging technologies at this year’s show in Dusseldorf between 7-13 May, including some of its key lines include the SmartPacker, with its core focus based on simplicity, reliability and performance.

As our title has previously covered, GEA has gained a significant interest in the confectionery sector, which has centred on its lollipop production lines, which are regarded as being among world leaders in the field.

Other core equipment includes its Aquarius SmartControl HMI – Control reinvented – smarter, simpler, future – ready, as well as its GEA One Line for Mid Size Performance – Achieve consistent quality with one slicing, loading and packaging line.

Furthermore, its MultiJector 500 – Maximise brine retention with precise, application steered injection, which will be among its core lines being showcase in Germany next month, with the business located within Hall 6, stand C27. 

The company’s Xtru Twin Series has been developed to deliver high process stability, broad application versatility, and improved energy efficiency. Its Bake Depositor 2LC – Streamline bakery processes by accurately depositing soft doughs and batters.

Meanwhile, Bake G2 is Designed to deliver enhanced energy efficiency and improved process control, while the Consi Gma FC Lab, offers options in being able to accelerate formulation development through ultra efficient, accurate tablet coating.
