British-based confectionery equipment business BCH has been confirmed among aa host of sector exhibitors taking their place as exhibitors at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing event, writes Neill Barston.
The event, set to be staged once again at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 3-5 November, is scheduled to feature a huge array of technology, as well as dynamic industry ingredients, across more than 2,500 global companies participating.
Significantly, BCH, which has just claimed a World Confectionery Award at our World Confectionery Conference last month in London for its DMS 6, six colour, six flavour dynamic mixing system, is reportedly enjoying an especially strong year, according to the company.
The business noted to Confectionery Production that it had gained a strong response to its presence at the most recent interpack event, and has highly valued taking its place at Gulfood, as momentum gathers surrounding this year’s event.
While regional geopolitical conditions have remained challenging surrounding the ongoing war in Iran, organisers remain confident that the event is set to proceed as planned.
Confectionery Production is taking its place as a media partner for the event – which will notably be back aligned with sister show ISM Middle East, which had been scheduled for September, but has now been placed alongside Gulfood – which has previously proved a powerful combination of equipment, systems and tech, linked to finished product focuses in providing a complete 360 value chain experience for visitors.

Indeed, as previously reported, plans for this year’s Private Label Middle East, also being staged between 3-5 November at the trade centre venue, are shaping-up strongly, in response to growing market demand for own-brand alternatives that have been perceived by shoppers as offering strong value for money amid challenging economic times.
UK representation
For its part, BCH, which has approaching 200 years of manufacturing experience, will be returning to the event at the Trade Centre Arena, at Stand S10, where the company will showcase its expertise in food and confectionery processing solutions.
As the company noted, visitors to the show will have the opportunity to meet the BCH team and discuss processing requirements, new projects and opportunities to improve existing production lines.
industry requirements
Moreover, as the firm noted, with manufacturers continuing to seek greater efficiency, flexibility, and reliability from their production lines, BCH will use the exhibition to meet with food and confectionery manufacturers from across the region and discuss their processing requirements. The stand will also highlight the breadth of products and applications that can be achieved using BCH processing technology.
The business will be far from the only British company represented at this year’s event, including Silersun Machines, specialists in mixing systems, industrial baking equipment firm Sugden, Tate & Lyle ingredients business, Taste flavouring, as well as the Unitech Group, specialists in a wide range of stainless steel equipment, including mechanical handling, pallets and storage solutions for the industry.
