Keep in touch with the much-anticipated ISM & ProSweets events

With ISM and ProSweets just a few days away, there are plenty of opportunities to gain some valuable insights into latest industry trends that will making their mark for the year ahead at this year’s events in Cologne, Germany, starting this Sunday.

So if you’ve not been in touch regarding your company’s appearance, pleased do drop me a line at [email protected] with your news and views for these significant industry shows that have traditionally set the tone for the region (and far beyond) in terms of equipment, ingredients an systems to emerge throughout the year. (If you haven’t had chance, catch our exclusive video preview with ISM director Sabine Schommer here).

Last year’s show was indeed a little different in being held in April, which the organisers have acknowledged from feedback, was considered by many confectionery manufacturers as being too late for their cycle of production, which prompted an early confirmation returning the shows to their natural dates in January.

Though Interpack was indeed the ‘grandfather of all equipment shows’ last summer, visitors are set to be pleasantly surprised at the array of machinery that is anticipated to be on show this time around in Hall 10.1 – especially after last year’s shorter special edition that featured little in the way of machinery on show with its proximity to Interpack being just a couple of weeks also proving challenging.

For those who did attend and exhibit, there was a sense from many that preserving some continuity in being involved was a factor in their decisions, but from speaking to a number of companies across the sector, the consensus seemed very much to be that in terms of its timing, it’s very much where it ought to be. We’ll look forward to seeing many friends and colleagues from across the industry in just a few days’ time, where we will be offering some live reports from the show.
