Get involved in this summer’s key virtual confectionery industry showcase

With just several months to go until our World Confectionery Conference takes place in its re-imagined virtual format, interest surrounding the event is continuing to gather momentum as the countdown begins.

Having reported on a number of wider sector online webinars over the past year, one thing is for certain, there’s plenty of demand out there for insight, debate and informed discussion that we are collectively carrying out online in light of the pandemic. It’s clear our sector is determined to tackle conditions head on in continuing with production operations around the world.

So, we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible on 1 June for our online extravaganza, which will feature a diverse range of presentations from across the industry. Among its key elements will be trends presentations from Innova Market Insights and Euromonitor International, as well as a wider series of keynote speakers we are in the final stages of confirming.

As we’ve previously covered, among the roll-call of those making presentations will be Confectionery Production editorial board member Andy Baxendale, known as “The Sweet Consultant,” Aldo Cristiano, president of CAOBISCO, the European Chocolate, biscuit and confectionery industry association, major global businesses including Cargill, as well as Fairtrade International to name just a few highlights.

The complete value chain of the confectionery world will be represented during the one-day event, from finished product and ingredients specialists, through to key equipment and systems businesses addressing a core theme of sustainability for the industry, as it navigates its way through some memorably testing times.

So, especially given the absence of significant ‘live’ trade events, this is shaping up to be quite an occasion to remember  – make sure you keep your eyes peeled for updates on our event website over the coming weeks, and don’t be shy in registering.

We hope you will enjoy our debut event, so do let us know your thoughts on broader topics or other feedback surrounding our virtual show, and register your interest in attending at confectioneryconference.vfairs.com
