Bakery focus

I’ll keep my blog short and sweet this week as we’re sending the September issue of Confectionery Production to press.

In it, readers can expect a wealth of information and insight on bakery technology, with features on environmentally friendly equipment and heat exchange technology. We also have features on gelling and whipping agents as well as printing equipment. There are show previews on processing and packaging exhibition PPMA 2017, which takes place from 26-28 September at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, as well as the Speciality Fine Food Fair.

I’d also like to remind readers and advertisers that we’ll be working on our Supplier Profile issue later this week. The October issue has information on a selection of leading suppliers, including those specialised in ingredients, processing equipment and packaging. Of course, we’ll still have the usual mix of features, including process control and automation, inclusion ingredients and wrapping packaging technology.

The deadline for the Supplier Profile issue is less than a week away (29 August) so please get in touch with our sales manager, Frankie Savage, before if you would like to be included.
