British-based chocolate coating machinery specialist DT&G Ltd is keenly anticipating its return to interpack, as it continues to grow its international profile, writes Neill Barston.

The business, which will be playing a key role at our World Confectionery Conference this September with MD Lyn Pitt returning as a speaker, is expected to showcase its Finn Enhanced Coater as a centrepiece for its return to the major cross-industry global gathering in Düsseldorf.

DT&G will take its place in Germany for the key packaging and processing event, in Hall 1, Stand C16, which will feature more than 2,800 businesses across its vast site between 7-13 May.

The company’s flagship line line will be displayed with a stainless steel Drip Bar, load cells, belt heater and a specially designed Intralox ThermoDrive belt, with this partner business also taking to the stage at our event in the UK this September.

As the firm, located in the Liverpool area, noted, data reporting, remote access and dashboard connectivity can be fully viewed as part of the system, all of which assists operators and production managers to obtain maximum efficiency. This machine has capacity of up to 480lbs/220kgs/- 309 litres.

For more than 60 years, quality and service has been a priority for the business, which has placed a core focus on delivering innovation, offering the highest standard in food safety risk management. This allows for effective and efficient sanitation with reliable, predictable operational performance. As the company explained, the benefits are less product loss, less down time and increased production.

It’s appearance this year in at interpack (see our exclusive video interview with show director Thomas Dohse below) builds on the success of its previous showing in Germany at interpack, which offered a show debut for its MicroCoater, featuring its own DST air supply unit.

For its part, DT&G has reported a strong start to 2026, gaining orders in a number of territories, with the business also set to venture back to the US as part of this year’s Sweets and Snacks Expo in Las Vegas. For more information on the company, visit its website, dtg-ltd.com
