German-headquartered equipment and systems business WDS has been confirmed among key exhibitors within the confectionery and snacking segment this year’s Pack Expo, writes Neill Barston.
The event is set to host some 2,600 businesses showcasing their respective latest developments, with an attendance level anticipated near the 50,000 mark across the show between 18-21 October at McCormick Place, Chicago.
For its part, WDS America will be participating at the confectionery pavilion of the key US event, at Booth S-2894.
As the company noted, whether you’re developing a new concept in the lab, expanding into pilot production, or investing in a high-capacity commercial line, WDS America is your partner to support the full journey.
Being the North American presence of the German confectionery machinery manufacturer Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen, WDS America Inc. brings global confectionery machinery expertise together with local support for customers across the U.S. and Canada.
As the company added, in its view, what makes WDS America different is its strong focus on understanding each customer’s product, process, and production goals before recommending equipment. We are listening to customer´s pain points and selecting the right technology for the specific confectionery process rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions.
For manufacturers, that means practical consulting, a more tailored project approach, and solutions designed around real production needs.
Visitors at Pack Expo can expect to learn how WDS America supports confectionery businesses from lab scale all the way to commercial production. WDS covers the full range from pilot solutions with production capacities from 150 kg/h to commercial lines with capacities up to 5 t/h and the entire spectrum of deposited masses with depositing temperatures ranging from 20 °C to over 150 °C.
As the company added, it is well placed to assist customers whether they are starting out on their equipment journey, or seeking partners for their next confectionery project in the region.
