Equipment firm Loma Systems unveils Alex Ramirez as service director

Alex Ramirez has been appointed as service director for inspection equipment firm, Loma
British-headquartered product inspection equipment firm Loma Systems has confirmed Alex Ramirez as its new service director in North America, writes Neill Barston.
As the company noted, the move further strengthens its focus on delivering customer satisfaction, as it continues to operate across a number of market segments including confectionery and snacks.
Moreover, as our title has previously covered, the industry has become ever-more trained on continuing to raise the bar in terms of food safety standards, against the prospect of product recalls causing major financial and reputation damage to manufacturers.
This has seen a corresponding rise in the development of advanced x-ray and inspection services that have come to play a significant role in the industry.
In terms of its own history, Loma, which began at the end of the 1960s, has seen its operations steadily expand around the world, its newly appointed US service director has nearly 30 years of experience in customer service, field service, operations and sales across various manufacturing industries.
This includes including metering and mixing, wire processing, industrial automation and commercial food service, Alex brings a wealth of expertise to the role. His extensive background covers North and South America, including territories from Canada to Brazil, equipping him with an excellent understanding of global customer needs.
In his new position, Alex will develop and implement strategies to drive internal and external customer satisfaction by empowering Loma’s expert service team. His role is uniquely positioned to interact with key stakeholders across borders and continents, enabling him to identify challenges and implement solutions that enhance Loma’s service delivery.
