With our World Confectionery Conference just days away, the exhibitor line-up is completed by German-based machinery business, Rinsch, writes Neill Barston.

The company, which specialised in chocolate production equipment including tanks, melters and pumps, is located in Kempen on the Lower Rhine, has worked with a broad range of businesses across Europe and further afield.

Visitors to this year’s ProSweets event in Cologne will have seen the company’s key stand, which also featured DT&G Ltd (pictured main image), whose managing director, Lyn Pitt will also be appearing at this year’s show, which takes place this Thursday in Brussels, Belgium (12 September). Registration for the event remains open at the following link.

This year’s event features keynotes from the likes of Ferrero, Cargill, Tony’s Chocolonely, Caobisco European confectionery trade association, as well as insights from Mintel and FMCG Gurus, with education also featuring notably with a presentation from ZDS, the central school of German confectionery, which is a longstanding board member of Confectionery Production.

Among our 2024 exhibitors are a number of other equipment and ingredients specialists including  will be Germany’s Loeschpack. The business has continued to hold a key reputation within the sector for its fast, advanced confectionery and snacks systems. Furthermore, Belgian-based packaging business Pattyn will also be making an appearance to offer insights on its latest ranges.

There will also be representation from Plamil Foods, which is among vegan pioneers, and has developed a new brand, the Coffee Bar, which has been making waves within the segment and visitors will have chance to try the new range there.

Another of our speakers, Krüger & Salecker, will also be on hand in an exhibiting capacity for the event, as well as a number of ingredients businesses including Gelita, Corbion and Sun Chemical, a specialist in packaging and graphic solutions.

Technology will also be to the fore with an appearance from Trade In Space, geospatial mapping services, which is a hugely hot topic right now with regards to compliance for upcoming EUDR deforestation regulations.
