Germany’s Hebenstreit wafer machinery names Marcel Monti Fackert as CEO

German-based wafer machinery business Hebenstreit has confirmed that Marcel Monti Fackert has joined the company as chief executive officer, writes Neill Barston.
As the business noted, the senior executive has gained a broad range of international experience, and a proven track record in the successful management of companies in the mechanical engineering and special machinery sectors. This has included a period most recently as sales director for German-based Linde Material handling.
Moreover, as the company enthused, its new CEO is set to lead its operations into a new chapter of product innovation and a projected pathway to future growth for its global operations.
The company said: “We happy to have him now on board and looking forward to achieve great success together.”
Notably, the business has gained a strong reputation for it single screw snack extrusion lines for various product shapes, as well as process equipment for mixing and feeding of ingredients.
In the past couple of years, Hebenstreit has delivered Its SE snack extruder series, which has gained a distinctive selling point in combining Turbo technology with a direct drive system which is reported to provides substantial advantages to the user.
As the company has previously noted to Confectionery Production, a growing trend within snack extrusion has seen a renewed focus on products with healthier ingredients. The raw materials required can vary from corn to rice, peas, soya and many others.
Furthermore, the business has retained its presence at key shows within the confectionery sector, including ProSweets in Cologne, where the firm presented its comprehensive wafer baking technology for its global base of customers.
