Exclusive video: Chicago records a stellar performance with city’s 26th Sweets & Snacks event

This year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo event has freshly concluded at McCormick Place, and proved extremely memorable for its final edition being held in Chicago, US, before relocating to Indianapolis in 2024.

Editor Neill Barston offers an exclusive video review of the event (below), speaking to the National Confectioners Association, Mondelez International, Ferrero Perfetti Van Melle, Barry Callebaut, Whitakers Chocolates, Freedom Mallows, Haribo and Ferrara, assessing this year’s record-breaking 26th edition.

As previously reported, the show attracted a total of 18,000 visitors, including a number from Europe and Asia, who were all extremely keen to examine the latest trends that have been playing out in the world’s single largest confectionery market.
