Cake Concepts bakery equipment delivers revamped website as its range expands

Bakery equipment business Cake Concepts has reported it is gearing up for activity this autumn including this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing through releasing a new company website showcasing its product portfolio.

As CEO Simon Holl explains to Confectionery Production, the company, based in the Amsterdam area of the Netherlands, says the firm has grown on the strength of its exports of its machinery for funcakes (based on traditional Japanese Manju cake) and classic pancake lines.

He explained that the company’s revamped website will give visitors insight information about all possibilities to be distinctive and successful in their respective markets around the world.

Holl said: ‘Our philosophy is to combine technology and customer demands to get the best and perfect Funcake and Pancake products. That’s what drives you as producer of products to generate new ideas and innovation. When consumer demands are changing there is a challenge for producers: the new cake products should be healthy, tasty and looking great. In our constant drive to get the best for customers (we love innovation), we will investigate as much as possible and listen carefully to the signals of the market. We always cooperate with customers to find out the real challenge.

“It is not only a matter of developing and delivering the right machine, it is much more. We need to discuss several items like.the ingredients, the recipe, the batter, the filling. It is always a combination of items. For example, if we talk about discussing the recipe of the cake products. The challenge is to obtain a soft texture and a long shelf-life. Using the product quality first and the shelf-live as an optimiser for the supply-chain we will have a game-changer”.

Cake Concepts will be present at the major exhibitions this year at Gulfood Manufacturing (between 3-5 November in Dubai), where the business will be part of the Holland pavilion, and next year it also plans to be part of Interpack and IBA.
