Naturex set to demonstrate its plant-based solutions at IFT expo
Global ingredients business Naturex is showcasing its latest plant-based product series at this year’s IFT expo event from June 3-5 in New Orleans, America.
Designed to naturally enhance consumers’ total sensory experience, the business will feature concepts that include its latest natural, clean label food, beverage, health and wellness solutions during the three-day trade fair.
Created in Naturex’s Springlab application laboratories, its range will include natural fire-roasted vegetables, fruit powders, colouring foods, and preservatives as well as selected berries and botanicals with intuitive benefits for wellness.
The company, which is now part of Givaudan, has recently invested in colouring foodstuffs with Vegebrite Ultimate Spirulina.
This new extraction line is said to triple production capacity, has been introduced at the company’s site in Avignon, France. This expansion of its manufacturing capacity has been designed to meet the growing global demand for clean label blues and greens – including for use within confectionery and snacks ranges.
Visitors to the company’s stand at IFT will be able to see a number of product demonstrations including a granola trail mix coated with raspberry powder, as well as a number of other items representing its full product range.
Originally founded in 1992, the company’s portfolio now includes colours, natural preservation Ingredients, specialty fruits & vegetables, phytoactives, and numerous other plant-based natural ingredients, designed to help customers switch to healthier ingredients.
Naturex offers a wide range of natural food preservatives that effectively protect from off-notes and color fading. Sustainably sourced, rosemary is one of the firm’s core ingredients that delivers effective protection to stabilise products.
