With colder, wetter weather hitting the UK this week, it seems our summer was short-lived.

The summer months are usually quieter for journalists with fewer events, conferences and exhibitions taking place. However, that’s not the case for the Confectionery Production team. Next week, we’ll be attending Buhler’s facility in London for a factory tour and a product demonstration. I’ll also be visiting Loacker’s factory in northern Italy next month. Find out how we get on in our upcoming issues.

In August, we’ll be focusing on Confectionery Production’s annual Supplier Profile issue. The October issue is a bumper one with information on a selection of leading suppliers, including those specialised in ingredients, processing equipment and packaging. Of course, we’ll still have the usual mix of features, including process control and automation, inclusion ingredients and wrapping packaging technology. It is certainly not one to be missed.

The deadline for the Supplier Profile issue is 29 August so please get in touch with our sales manager, Frankie Savage, before then if you would like to be included.

We’ll also be reviewing our 2018 media packs shortly, so if you have any suggestions on how we can expand this for next year, then please get in touch.
