After a decade of service with the National Confectioners Association (NCA), Paul Kissin has been promoted to vice president of marketing and technology for the key trade body, reports Neill Barston.
He previously served as senior director of marketing and web technology, having played an active role in refining the US group’s activities surrounding its major events, including Sweets & Snacks Expo.
As the NCA he noted that along with senior colleagues, he will oversee marketing operations and leading the association’s approach to emerging technologies, data and AI.
Notably, he will also reportedly drive technology innovations that improve efficiency and strengthen engagement with NCA member companies and industry audiences.
“For more than a decade, Paul has played an important role in advancing how NCA uses cutting-edge technology to support our member companies and the broader confectionery industry,” John Downs, president & CEO of the National Confectioners Association, said.
“Paul is a trusted and valued member of our team, and his forward-looking approach will continue to strengthen our organization and the value we deliver to the industry.”
Kissin’s promotion reflects his longstanding contributions to NCA’s continued investment in technology, data, and marketing capabilities that support the association’s strategic priorities and deliver value for its members.
