Hershey’s Kisses gains new twist with Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavour

US confectionery group Hershey has placed a nostalgic twist on its classic Kisses for its latest iteration of the classic brand, which gains a new Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavour, writes Neill Barston.

As the company explained, its continued programme of product developed has been sparked by consumer research indicating that innovative tastes are expected by Gen Z and Millennials shoppers, with 75% agreeing it is a critical factor in their purchases.

Consequently, the two brands have united for the company’s latest sweet offering, with the company embarking on a fresh era of collaboration, which visitors to Sweets & Snacks Expo will be able to experienced first hand shortly in Indianapolis.

For the company’s latest offering, smooth white creme meets swirls of cinnamon sugar and graham-flavoured cookie bits, delivering a blast of bold Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavours and a crunchy texture. These special edition candies have gained a US national release in 9oz bags.

“Unexpected crossovers are having a moment, and we’re delivering a Hershey’s Kisses flavour combo no one saw coming — but everyone will want to try,” said Katie DeCapria, senior brand manager at The Hershey Company. “Hershey’s Kisses have always been a go-to for sweet moments, and now, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavour will make memories even more unforgettable.”

As the company added, the new offering is set to target snacking occasions from a desk drawer treat, through to family road trips, with the company seeking to place a new spin on one of its most consistent brands.

“Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a favourite in the cereal aisle, and we’re always looking for ways to bring our iconic taste to other places our consumers love. The new Hershey’s Kisses Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavoured candies are the perfect pairing we know fans and families will enjoy while hanging out or on-the-go,” shared Brandon Tyrrell, marketing communications manager at General Mills.
