Guylian gains summer boost with Asian launch of latest dark praline line

Belgian chocolate brand Guylian has enjoyed a notable performance this summer, in recently unveiling its latest dark pralines, as the business continues to grow its international profile, writes Neill Barston.

Its latest range had been showcased at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2024 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, which formed a key launch for the business in the strategically important APAC region which has been highlighted as a core investment target.

As the business noted, its  travel retail exclusive assortment has successfully carved its niche in the premium chocolate category and is now more extensive than ever. With its wide array, Guylian can cater to various consumer needs such as gifting, snacking, and impulse buying. The diverse range of packaging sizes meets the varied expectations of duty-free shoppers.

During the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, Guylian will showcase its extensive travel retail exclusive assortment, with a special focus on the successful Master’s Selection line, the expansion of the assortment box segment, the Dark Praliné Seashells, and the launch of the new Belgian Seashells Collection 362g and the Seashells 250g luxury ballotin.

Enjoying strong market share in the gifting segment, the company’s wide range includes the Original and Dark Praliné Seashells, Tablets, Temptations, the Master’s Selection line, and the new Belgian Seashells Collection. Together, they form perfect treats for on-the-go or gifts for loved ones at home.

Notably, its Master’s Selection remains a key growth driver for the brand within the travel retail segment, as this assortment is exclusively sold within duty-free shops. This selection is considered a gourmet souvenir that perfectly fits into the premium travel retail segment, evidenced by multiple award nominations.
