Froneri claims world first with cookie ice cream cones
The global Froneri business has claimed an industry breakthrough in delivering the world’s first ever ice cream with a cone made from a cookie, writes Neill Barston.
Since forming six years ago as a joint venture between Nestlé and PAI Partners, the company has continued to enhance its international product range.
Its latest offering, the ‘Extrême’ range, combines core ice cream flavours of vanilla, caramel and oven baked cookies shaped into its cones.
A combination of flavours is now available including Salted Caramel & White Chocolate, Exotic Mango, Raspberry Sorbet & Cream and more.

The launch of Extreme Cookie Cones will be supported with a comprehensive media campaign, running across the summer, including TV, sampling, in store and experiential activity.”
Extreme Cookie Cones will be available in Tesco from January 2022 (RRP: £4), with further stores to follow. It will be available in the following flavours: Caramel Cookie Cone – Made of real cookie dough, oven baked, formed into a crunchy cookie cone and filled with smooth Caramel ice cream, a thick caramel sauce and topped with cookie chunks, chocolate swirls and caramel sauce.

cone and filled with Vanilla ice cream, a thick caramel sauce and topped with cookie chunks, chocolate swirls and more caramel sauce. The range is completed by its hazelnut offering, with chocolate sauce and cooky chunks.
