Prestat releases its latest regal Easter chocolate range

Luxury confectionery business Prestat has delivered its latest Easter Collection combining bestselling truffles with fine single-origin chocolate sourced from Ivory Coast, writes Neill Barston.

The UK-based firm, which has retained its royal warrant to supply Her Majesty the Queen and her household, says the recipes for its latest series has been inspired by those first created by the company’s founders in 1895.

Its new range includes the Original Dark Chocolate Truffle Egg, and the Milk Chocolate Gianduja Egg, along with favourites like the award-winning Sea Salt Caramel, the pretty Pink Popping Prosecco, the London Gin and Lemon and the much loved Marc De Champagne.

Each egg is packed full of chocolate truffles, carefully packaged in a collectable keepsake box, completed with ribbons, and designed to be shared on Easter Day, with the Queen also expected to receive her traditional annual treat from the company.

The Dark Chocolate egg features (62% dark chocolate), with its aromatic shell filled with dark truffles inspired by o founder’s closely guarded secret recipe, while its Gianduja (38% chocolate) being a celebration of Prestat’s heritage combined with its sister company, Domori’s high-grade chocolate and nutty gianduja.

Meanwhile, the company’s best selling Pink Popping Prosecco Egg has 38% milk chocolate embellished with pink chocolates and filled with popping, pink prosecco-infused chocolate truffles. Its London Gin Egg is centred on an award-winning truffle recipe made into Milk Chocolate egg (38%), with its shell mixing Chocolate and lemon, filled with gin-infused chocolate truffles.

Similarly, its Marc de Champagne Egg (38% chocolate) is filled with  Prestat’s award-winning Marc de Champagne Truffles, and is regarded as a much-loved classic by the company. There is also a sea salted caramel flavoured egg (62% chocolate).

The series, which is available at select retailers and online, is completed with a fun Easter bunny (38% milk chocolate) in a golden foil design, as well as a box of mini eggs in Small Dark (62%) and Milk (38%) egg format, presented in a special Easter gift box.
