Mondelēz International strengthens product portfolio amid rise in on-the-go ranges
Global snacks and confectionery group Mondelēz International is continuing to strengthen its portfolio with several key releases designed to meet consumers’ individual lifestyles in response to a wider growth trend in on-the-go products.
Among its notable new series being unveiled within Germany and Austria has been a new Milka Cookie Snax series (consisting of six individually wrapped bars, 165g per pack) is the first full-bodied cookie in a practical bar format. Inside the crunchy cookie bar are Milka chocolate pieces, covered with Milka Alpine Milk Chocolate.
Furthermore, Mondelēz International released a new Joyfills variety, which is available in wider markets: Joyfills Oreo Golden (90g) with a crispy golden cookie shell and an Oreo Crème filling. A striking yellow packaging attracts a lot of attention and differentiates the individual Joyfills varieties on the shelf.
As an on-the-go version, Mikado &Go! Milchschokolade (Milk Chocolate) has gained its release earlier this year, but is also suitable for new channels such as vending machines, ICC and C&Cmarkets. The small, attractive and practical packaging is filled with 39 grams (instead of 75 grams in the standard version) of delicious sticks.
Ideal for sharing is the first real sharing version of Mikado: the Mikado Snack Box (159g). Since week 14, it has been inviting you to share snacks with your partner and family with its practical popcorn box, which is easy to open and fold.
Meanwhile, the new packaging format of the classic TUC Original is perfect for on the go. From the second quarter of 2020, the cult cracker will be available in a six-pack (21g each).
