Elizabeth Shaw confectioners set for ISM return after a decade

UK confectionery brand Elizabeth Shaw has confirmed it is set to exhibit at the ISM international trade fair for the first time in a decade.

The company, which has over 130 years of production heritage, will be showcasing its existing range a sit moves to expand its global export business.

Visitors to the stand will be able to sample the company’s original mint chocolate series including its renowned Mint Crisp, as well as its indulgent range of Famous Names liqueurs with iconic spirits and liqueurs brands, which remain seasonal favourites at Christmas.

The firm’s new range of chocolate biscuits will also be available for trade fair visitors to sample. Based within ISM’s UK pavilion, the brand is also set to unveil new Chocolate innovations in the form of chocolate covered fruits in handy pouches, and a new range of sharing gift boxes with delicious combinations of light mousse centres with crisp cocoa and fruit inclusions smothered in rich dark and smooth milk chocolate.

Karen Crawford, managing director of Elizabeth Shaw, welcomed the company’s return to the event in Cologne for ISM, which is takes place between January 27-30, and is expected to set the tone for 2019’s confectionery market.

She said: “Elizabeth Shaw has been creating extraordinary chocolates for over 100 years and we are always striving to offer customers new and exciting innovations in taste and texture combinations. ISM offers a great opportunity to reach out to new markets and educate new customers about our well-loved English chocolate brand and how we continue to build on our heritage to re-imagine our offer for today’s consumers.”
