Industrial bakery solutions

Kempf GmbH, a partner of the ‘Teflon coatings for Industrial Bakery Solutions’ initiative, recently opened its new plant in Rohrbach, Germany, with a certified Teflon coating production line for high quality baking moulds and trays. Fully automated, the production site has the capacity to coat more than 2,500 square metres per day of bakeware with Teflon nonstick surfaces for industrial bakeries. The value of the overall investment in the new plant is about €3,500,000, with about €2,100,000 of the total spent on new technical equipment.
“With our state of the art coating plant combined with the excellent Teflon branded nonstick coatings and the knowledge of our highly skilled employees, we are able to serve our customers with top quality coated bakeware,” says Guido Kempf, CEO of Kempf. He continues: “Our focus is always to automate our processes to guarantee the best quality in combination with competitive prices. Our unique selling point is that we can offer the complete package of producing industrial baking trays and pans, applying the latest types of non-stick coating and offering a complete re-coating service.”
Initially focused on industrial bakery coating solutions for perforated trays suitable for pretzels (Teflon coating S16), flat trays and slightly indented trays for buns and croissants (Teflon coating F34), the facility is working with experts from Teflon coatings on systems for many other products.
“Kempf has been our partner for more than five years now and a Teflon coatings licensed marketer for Industrial Bakery Solutions since 2011. This innovative production site proves the strategic and long-term value of our partnership,” says Ian Fletcher, business manager Industrial Finishes EMEA at Chemours.
