Last call for the interpack “Olympics of packaging and processing”

This week’s blog is just the briefest of notes to wish one and all travelling to Düsseldorf this week safe travels to Germany.

We have offered a comprehensive guide to this year’s event taking place between 7-13 May, which is anticipated as matching a similar performance as three years ago in attracting some 140,000 visitors from around the world.

You can expect plenty of colourful and entertaining sights as the city comes alive for what has been billed as the ‘tech Olympics’ ) by the event’s director Thomas Dohse (see our exclusive video here – 

In addition, Markus Rustler, of the interpack’s executive board, and CEO and president of Theegarten-Pactec also offers his views on what to expect for this year’s event – which will have a whole host of topics spanning the entire packaging and processing sector.

Confectionery, snacks and bakery will be very much in the mix of topics that range from environmental considerations adapting to new EU legislation emerging this summer, through to key launches for equipment serving all segments of the industry.
