Packaging specialists Fresh-Lock prepares interpack sustainability focus

US-based flexible recloseable packaging specialist, Fresh-Lock, is set to unveil enhanced market solutions at this year’s interpack event, writes Neill Barston.
As the company noted, it is helping brands from across industries including confectionery and snacking market drive enhanced progress in meeting their environmental performance progress.
The company will be present at Hall 10, stand B87, 7-13 May in Düsseldorf to explore closure innovations engineered to deliver versatility, reliability, and efficient production across a range of pouch formats and applications.
With more than 30 years of experience as a business, the Fresh–Lock team will exhibit a variety of sustainable solutions from the brand’s 8000 Series—a portfolio designed to support circularity and reduce waste with minimal impact on production efficiency.

Additionally, Interpack 2026 will serve as an opportunity for the Fresh–Lock team to foster collaborative conversations around the industry’s most pressing challenges.
As supply chain partners, consumers, and regulators turn away from generic “green” claims and instead look for quantifiable impact in areas like recyclability and source reduction, the Fresh–Lock team looks forward to working alongside other packaging suppliers to help brands redesign packaging for measurable sustainability progress.
Natalie Kaczorowski, Fresh-Lock business development manager, keenly anticipated its appearance in Germany.
She said: ““Flexible packaging closures are the doorway to the product experience,” said “Whether a brand is focused on improving convenience, versatility, or overall packaging performance, the right closure technology can transform how consumers interact with a product. Interpack gives us the opportunity to collaborate with suppliers and industry leaders from around the globe and further explore how our next-generation closure technology can help move the packaging experience forward.”
